Good Times Classic Car Club Colchester CT

Post by 69_RAG_TOP on Mon Oct 18, 2010 6:19 pm

What a fabulous day for this car show. The weather was warm and sunny and the foiliage was a vivid array of reds, yellows and purple at the Colchester Green where the show was held. It started at 11:00 AM. I estimate that between 400 and 500 cars came for this event. Trophies were presented at 2:30 PM.

The oldest car in attendance was a 1921 Studebaker.

The rarest cars in attendance were TWO 1953 Corvettes.

The highest rated American points car from a National Car Show was a immaculate 1957 Chevrolet Belair convertible.

The highest rated Foreign points car from a National Car Show was a immaculate 1954 Porsche Speedster convertible.

Three Firebirds and two Trans Ams were also in attendance. I shot 151 pictures and will try to load some more later.

This show was attended by many local car clubs including Yesteryear of Oakdale, Yankee Yesteryear, Dream Machines, Good Times, Connecticut Corvettes, SECT Mustang Club and Model A Club.

Larry Thanks for posting the pictures. Man I already miss my car. That would have been a great event to attend.

Two '53 Corvettes? They only made a few hundred of them as I recall. That must have been something to see.

I love the hugger orange Camaro.
