Local car show

Post by blue81ta on Sun Sep 05, 2010 6:58 pm

Went to a local car show today. Some pics. The show field was located on a farm on the banks of the Mohawk River in Rotterdam Junction NY.

The only Firebirds there were in the parking lot. My 2001

My friend Reggie's 2002

My friend Mark brought his real deal retired California Highway Patrol car and his 2010 Camaro SS.

Hemmings Muscle Machines Magazine did a story on his car in the July 2009 issue.

Nice Bonnie with a 428, 40,000 original miles.

Thanks for posting these photos. There are some nice Pontiacs as well as some seldom seen classics from the 1960s and 1970s.

The only one that surprised me was the Checker Marathon Yellow Cab with the 20 inch ganster chrome wheels.

I guess it was only a matter of time before the big chrome wheels made their way onto a Checker cab. The car was very nicely done. The body is straight and the paint is very, very good, as well as the interior.
