COF Summer Eastern Wine Trail Cruise & Dinner

Note: Cruise Will meet at 10:15AM and Depart at 10:30AM



We will meet at the Truck Weighing Station on I-95 just after Exit 81 on Parkway South, caravan as a club to visit two very different wineries: Jonathan Edwards and Maugle Sierra Vineyards. For a finale, we will be stopping at a family owned, popular Italian Restaurant to eat dinner. The restaurant is located 2 minutes from the Maugle Sierra winery. The menu has full entrees, beef, chicken, seafood specialties, Italian pizza, salads, Pasta and grinders. We will be able to reserve a private dining area to eat together as a club. • 10:40 AM Stop at Scenic Overlook on I-95 for photoshoot

• 2:20 PM Depart Maugle Sierra Vineyards Ledyard, CT to Valentinos Restaurant

• 2:30 PM Arrive at Valentino’s Restaurant (Valentino Restaurant, 725 Colonel Ledyard Highway, Ledyard, CT., 06339. Best Italian Cuisine & Pizza in the Area)

• 3:30 PM Depart for home

The weather was perfect, the wine was sparkling and the scenery was spectacular.

The other members that went last week by themselves on July 25th had a great time too.

let's see a total 10 cars and at least 21 Members/Guests. That sounds like a good cruise. Yes I understand it was at two different Sundays. But everyone that went had a Good time. So I say the Cruise was a success and worth doing again next year.
