Cars That You No Longer See Anymore.

Post by 69_RAG_TOP on Wed Jun 30, 2010 9:40 am

Has it really been 30 years since Chevrolet introduced the brand new Citation? Introduced over a month before sales started and advertised as the X car, the ads were intriguing and did not say much about the car.
This was the new revolutionary front wheel drive four dour compact car that was going to transform the way America was going to drive to work. These cars faded from memory during the nineties and were replaced by the Celebrity and the Corsica.

How many seventies and eighties orphan cars can you remember? When was the last time you saw these cars on the road?

I remember all of these cars. I liked the Bricklin, thought the gull wing doors were cool. I think they had Ford engines in them. A friend of mine bought a 78 Cordoba. Nice car but extremely thirsty. The Montego was a decent looking car. The other cars are not the best cars to come out of Detroit....

Remember

I remember tose GLHS's. They were like the fastest car bin 1986 after the Grand National I believe. That Carol Shelby was something. Even in 1986, after the muscle car era, after CAFE stanars, he built a fast econobox.
