Turbo Trans Am Commercial debuted January 26, 1980

Has it really been 32 years ago?
This Turbo Trans Am Commercial debuted January 26, 1980 on a Saturday evening during the broadcast of Saturday Night Live.
Teri Garr was the host and the musical guests were the B-52s band.
Bill Murray did his Mr Bill sketch and Father Guido Sarducci did his comedy act on the Catholic church.
The Turbo Trans Am commerial aired just before midnight to an audience that had once viewed muscle cars as a thing of the past.
