talk about ur Firebirds/Trans ams

Post by frankez69ta on Wed Jan 04, 2012 5:10 pm

hey guys i was just trying to get something fun we all can talk about i have 3 of the 4 gen trans am's they are some of the best cars ever made my 69 trans am i bought it in 1983 from CT I when to look at a Corvette and saw the fender for the car so i asked the guy were the car was and if it was for sale so i looked the car over the car has 60 thousand miles so i bought the car on the spot over the years i have been collection NOS parts to but her back to gather. My 73 trans am i bought back in 05 i had chased the car for over 20 years and one day one of my old friends from high school called me and let me no were he thought the car was.So when looking for it and found it 3 houses down from were my mother lived LOL.I had to have it she will be done by the end of the winter and hitting the streets. My 2002 trans am FireHawk convrt has a funny story to it.When these car came out in 01 i when to the local Pontiac dealer to order one it would have been 45 thousand for a blue ws6 convert loaded so i backed off.In 08 i was on the computer looking at Trans ams and found my 2002 firehawk car #510 in Boston MA at a Nissan dealer for a really good price so i drove down to look at it the car was really nice besides the firehawk rims were pealing. They didnt no what they had so i bought it.Then i started to to my research on the car and on Firehawk.org i found out that they build 4 sunset orange auto cars.So i waited it out and i did good now i have the build sheet and build date from SLP and PHS.So guys tell ur story about ur birds thanks Frank
