August 6th 2011 Panera Bread Cruise

Post by mr71transam on Sun Aug 07, 2011 8:21 pm

Well the weather wasn't the best. But it was still a good Cruise. We had no problem parking cars because there were only had about 50 cars. Had a lot of time just to visit and enjoy the people and their cars. The 50/50 winner still took home $115.00. A small cruise is more fun than a large cruise.

Looks like a light turnout but a few nice cars made the event.

I like the Mercury Cougar, the Army Jeep and the selection of Firebirds. It looks like someone brought a 1989 Anniversary Pace car to Panera.

I spent the weekend with my wife in Boston. We walked around Copley Square and Fanuiel Hall, ate at the famous Abe & Lou's restaurant and went to the game.

If I had gone to Panera I would have been sleeping in my Firebird permanently...lol

It was our Anniversary and we had two tickets to the Red Sox Yankees game 10 rows behind the Yankees dugout on the third base side.

I will be at the August 20th Panera Bread Cruise. Plan on bringing the 'Bandit' if I get the car ready for the trip.

Sounds and looks like you and your Better Half had a Great time, but you were missed at the cruise.

I should have gone. I didn't realize it was on, it was raining here in MA.

I'm planning on the 20th. Who has the nice red Turbo?

Better you did not go Steve. We called the cruise at 7pm due to low turnout and weather coming in. My car got a good washing on the way home. Hope to see you on the 20th.
The red bird is not a turbo car, it just sports the hood.

The 20th it is. I was really looking forward to it. This past month almost all the cruises I go to were cancelled due to rain. Finally made a small one tonight.
