Hello everyone.

It would be hard for me to express how happy I am finally to own a 2nd gen Trams Am. I just took delivery of this '76 on Saturday, having traded my '95 Formula for it with a fellow in OH. The car is a driver, make no mistake. It has a very cheap paint job that is much too thick, it needs some minor mechanical work to be inspected (e-brake, reverse lights) and it has low oil pressure (but no noise) when hot. Despite all of those things, I am tickled pink to own the car, and hope to have it on the road before too long. My budget is tight tight tight, so we'll see what happens.

Arrival at my house

Goodbye, old Formula. I will miss you.

Please excuse the deplorable condition of my garage. It isn't finished yet, and I am in the midst of moving some things around.

That's a very nice Second Gen, the GTO isn't bad either. And as for your garage, I would kill to have your garage. So keep looking over your shoulder. Twisted Evil

All kidding aside Welcome to the board.

Welcome to the Bird's Nest.

Wow... that is a heckuva trade.

I like that 1995 Formula so I would be unhappy to see that car go.

But the 1976 Trans Am is a nice find. From the photos the car seems to be all stock and in excellent shape.

All the things that you listed are easy fixes. The car looks solid and rust free. Rust and rot are not easy to fix.

Good to have you here.

Dude, I really like your car but that garage is really cool. That looks like a good trade to me and I am glad to see you are saving a '76. The Formula hood harkens back to a day when TA's were fair game for customization. I always loved that hood.

Where are you in MAss? East Longmeadow here.
