I know these are a bit north for you guys but...

Saturday August 20th 9am-5pm there is a cruise at Seacoast Harley-Davidson in North Hampton N.H. I attended this last year and it was a blast. close to 200 cars showed up. The cost is $5 per car which goes to charity.

The following weekend there is "crusin' for cancer" a rolling car show Beginning at Fuddruckers in Methuen Ma. Last year we had the state police escort us with 101 cars making 4 planned stops throughout the day ending at Hampton beach. It was awsome! Picture 101 muscle cars rolling in a train down the road! $10 registration per car.

Proceeds from both of these events go to brain cancer research. Check out www.newenglandfirebird.com for details.

Hi Don,

Thanks for the information on the Seacoast Harley-Davidson in North Hampton N.H.

I was in North Hampton New Hampshire two years ago and it was a great place to visit.

If my memory serves me right it is located almost up to Portsmouth.

The Massachusett Firebird guys might be interested. I live on the southern shoreline in Connecticut and that is a 172 mile drive and takes 3 hours one way to get to North Hampton NH.

I don't mind the 3 hour drive but gasoline here in Connecticut is $3.75 per gallon for premium. The Connecticut Firebird guys are more likely to drive up with their daily drivers.

My Trans Am gets 9 to 10 miles per gallon and that round trip is going to cost me $65 for the trip.

Do you have any other Firebird events going on in Massachusetts like the Fuddruckers in Methuen?

Don I posted both those events on the Mass Firebirds club calendar, and we're having our winter meet this Sunday at which I will be mentioning them. Wink

Thanks for passing the word around guys. I understand about the fuel cost, my 67 gets 8 MPG highway. Shocked

Even if you guys can't come up with your birds it will still be great to have you guys there.

Seacoast Harley is on Rt 1 before you come into Portsmouth. It is 17 Lafayette rd, North Hampton NH for those of you with GPS.

You guys need to get a Turbo Trans Am and start racking up some nice 12MPG. Don't get me wrong, I love a car can can single handedly bring on global warming. In fact, right now I think global warming is the best idea since Edison invented the light bulb.
